We're getting married! (again)

We're getting married in France and we want you there.

We've rented a house 2 hours outside of Paris for 6 days and we'd love for you to join to help celebrate! Picture adult summer camp (with a wedding ceremony thrown in the middle), with dinners, games, a pool, wine, nap time (to recover from the aforementioned wine), and more.

We'd love for you to join from July 22nd – 28th but we understand the un-retired are employed and may not be able to swing the full time. That being said, it's a free chateau in France. Board taken care of, food mostly taken care of. All you have to do is book the plane ticket.

The Practical Bits

Where

A house in Dangeau, France. About 2 hours outside of Paris, in the countryside southwest of the city. Think oasis in the middle of farmland. There's a cute village nearby, Brou, where we'll venture into once or twice.

When

Thursday, July 22nd to Wednesday, July 28th. The actual ceremony will take place on Sunday, July 25th.

Getting There

Fly into Paris. It's a 2 hour drive, and we imagine some people will want to rent cars. We just ask that you let us know if you plan on renting in the RSVP below so we can plan.

If you're not, there's a train from Paris to Brou that takes 1h 48m for 28 euros. We can pick you up from there. Brou is a 10 min drive from the chateau.

Where to Stay

Guess what! The house sleeps 35 so most of you will be on site! We've blocked out rooms for you all. There are also two hotels less than 10 minutes away for select guests or if you'd prefer to stay offsite. We'll be in touch once we have a set number of people.

We'll sort room assignments once RSVPs are in.

For the ceremony: linens, fun dresses, floral. We can send a Pinterest for you but you're all beautiful and stylish so only on request.

Questions

Do I have to come for the whole week?: No. Come for as much as you can. If you can only make the rehearsal dinner and the wedding, we're just happy you're there.
Do I need a car?: We recommend getting a car, but for those that don't want to rent, there's a train station nearby and we'll pick you up from there.
Do I need to pay for my room?: No. It's on us.
Can I bring a plus one?: As much as we'd love to say yes, space is limited and we can't accommodate extra guests.
When should I book my flight by?: As early as possible if you know what dates you're coming.
Should I bring a gift?: We really don't need gifts. Our apartment is small and we already have two kettles. The biggest gift is eating good food and getting drunk with you in France.
Is there air conditioning?: There is no air conditioning. HOWEVER, there's a pool, showers, and the temp gets down to 50 degrees Fahrenheit in the morning and at night.
What's the deadline to RSVP?: RSVP as soon as you can. Deadline is October 30th.
